Build Parts for Prints
When 3D printing items, you can find that not all of them are purely 3D printable. Many models require additional hardware to put parts together. This is a running list of things I’ve acquired specifically for 3D prints.
- Loctite Super Glue Power Gel, 4g
- This particular super glue is non-drip and has inbuilt squeezing handles to give more precise control of the feed.
- 50 pairs of nitrile exam gloves
- Keeps your hands clean when using super glue and you are dealing with glueing fiddly parts like tiny magnets or posts.
- Rubber Feet - 165 piece set in four sizes
- Prints that sit on desks greatly benefit from rubber feet to stop them sliding around.
- 200 6x2 Neodymium Magnets
- EKLIND 92600 PSD Ball-Hex (allen) Precision Screwdriver - 6pc set Metric MM sizes 1.3-4
- Hex Bolts
- 12 Sheets of Red Self Adhesive Felt
- 3M Command Strips
- Picture Hanging Strips
- Medium, 12 pairs - 5.4 kg load bearing
- Small, 12 pairs - 1.8 kg load bearing
- Used these strips for mounting my Multiboard tiles with command strip mounts.
