Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA)

• ASA is a modified version of ABS that contains an additional acrylate component to give it higher UV and temperature resistance.
• Exhibits good strength against impact, and offers good overall durability - a little higher than ABS on both counts.
• Has a pungent odour when printing, so should only be printed in an enclosed printer with suitable ventilation.
• Needs high temperature drying for over 8 hours.
  • Actually requires higher temperatures than the GratKit Firefly Filament Dryer Box, so either need to really keep it dried and around desiccant, or dry via the P1S heat bed.
