Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol (PETG)

• Food safe as odourless and non-toxic.
  • But need to be wary of layer-based printing and bacteria - good practice is to keep things very clean and/or apply a coating to smooth things out.
• Relatively tough - not as strong as PLA, but not as brittle, having a higher impact resistance.
• Needs a heated print bed.
• Relatively UV resistant, but not as much as filaments such as ASA.
