Notes

• Basic clip just clamps the end of the filament directly against the side of the spool.
• When trying to clip it in, I find the filament slips out of the channel more oftent than not and the remainder of the clip just squeezes it to the side.
• This has slipped out several times when moving spools. It may be tolerances on some of the clips’ friction grip, but while it is better than pushing the filament through holes in the spool, this one isn’t a favourite.
• The one type of spool I have had more luck with is a cardboard one where I think the grip of the filament against cardboard rather than plastic works much better. For those spools it seems to be a good choice.
