Description | Simple Spirograph on Post-it Notes |
Notes
- This is a simple travel Spirograph.
- You can print multiple cogs and everything works within the constraints of the socket in the lid.
- You place the sticky note under the lid, insert a cog, pop your pen in a hole on the cog and start swirling.
- The box provides storage for cogs and sticky notes.
- A little nostalgic for those who owned a real Spirograph as a kid.
- Great as a gift for anyone who doodles and likes stationery.
- Locking mechanism for the lid is a little flat and weak. It could benefit from a stronger lock.
- Would also be nice if it included something you could strap your pen with.
- A couple of string elastic bands or an elastic fabric loop make good additions for this model.
- Printed all in PLA originally, but was asked to reprint cogs in a transparent PETG to allow you to see more clearly the pattern forming and when it is complete.
- My original Spirograph had totally transparent parts - and now I know why.
- Make sure you get a pen with a nice long metal nib - a ball point won’t give you the same quality; but it depends what you want from it.
